Thread: 3 1/2 ltr engine

hello, new to the site and finding it very helpful so thanks.

i have an old mk11 im restoring at the moment, but with it came the original 3.8 engine and also a spare 3 1/2 litre.

im trying to find outwhat it might have come out of. i have some numbers which are on the engine case but cant find what they mean.

can anyone help at all ?!
