As for a leather cleaner i expect there are many products out there claiming to be the dogs whatsits, but i use baby wipes they have a mild soap solution on them and if they are safe for babys bum then they should be ok for your seats, but i expect there's an expert out there that will differ. 8)

Finally got my Xjr
I picked up my Xjr yesterday.
BRG with cream leather, new steel lined engine and all the tensioners renewed with steel items.
I love it. I'm going to valet it shortly and attempt to get some photos up.
There are 2 things I'd like help with:
A dashboard bulb has gone behind the tacho, is this a easy job?
Also, the leather needs a good clean, what's the best product out there?

I would second what Jerry said.
I bought some highly recommended Gliptone the other week... Absolutely crap. Just made my car stink.
Don't know about baby wipes though.. They tend to have that horrible smell with them. Don't want my car to smell like a baby's arse...Anyone else own a supercharged V8 at 22 just because of Mad Max?

sounds just like the car i bought last month. looking forward to seeing pictures. i had to change the tensioners myself though although the leather was clean
