Is this oil ok for a 1995 XJR

Hi Guys

Quick question hopefully.

I have a stock of Shell Helix 5W-30 Fully Synth that I bought recently before I sold my previous Mercedes. Is this oil ok to use on my 1995 XJR with 111,000 miles?

I dont have any recent information on the kind of oil thats been used.

it would be good for the newer v8 and should be ok in your relatively high mileage 6 too, but i'd think that semi syn. 10/40 (e.g. mobil super s) would be fine going forward which is a lot cheaper. you _may_ find the low viscosity finds a few area to weap out of.

Ok I'll give it a go and then switch to a good semi synth....
