BUMP on my post![]()
Hi all,
I know that when you insert the key into the driver side door and turn & hold it to the lock position, all the windows (and sunroof) close automatically.
My question is it possible to have this done by the key/alarm fob button at all? I know this is not stated anywhere on the manual but just wondering if anyone has tried something via the vehicle diagnostics port perhaps?
Thanks.

With the X300 1994-1995 practically anything can be done by the Jaguar dealer to the customer's spec regarding the security system. I'd expect your car's security system might be capabale of more - but still a job for the dealer.

Yes, I remember doing something similar to my previously owned Audi A6, but that was done by myself with a diagnostic cable hooked up to my laptop with software.

My previous car was BMW 535i from 1990 and that had full closure facility automatically on locking with the remote so would imagine it'd be no problem to do it on your car... Let us know how much it sets you back if you get it done!![]()
