All the best Trevor.

Coming from a medical family, I suggest you think about the long term health effects of the stress they have put you through. You've needed tranquillisers and sleeping tablets right?

Perhaps ask your GP & lawyer what price they would put on the kind of stress the defence has put you through and its effects on your health.

Then wave that figure at them and watch the colour drain from their faces.

Just a thought for when the judge asks you for your costs.

Good luck on wed and remember the fact that truth is on your side and thus makes it all worth fighting for.
Damn these big companies thinking they can p"*s all over us once they have our money.
There are plenty of offers for help 2wards fighting these cowards, and i like the others really don't mind helping a body out if needed rather than sticking all your precious items on e-bay.
Just let us know how to get it to you.
YOU MOST CERTAINLY ARE NOT ALONE IN THIS!!!!!!!!

A very good idea if we win. Actually everyone might as well know this but I have been on beta blockers for a long while now and have been put on anti depressants 4 weeks ago and have just started having 6 hours of counselling to deal with the symptoms of stress, which are a bugger.

A little embarrasing if I am honest you always feel a bit feeble minded if you have any sort of "mental" issues. The counsellor has said it is not a question of being feeble minded more of the brain not being being able to cope with too much stress at any one time.

Never thought this sort of problem would affect me and certainly never thought I would go to counselling. But there you go, it can affect anyone at any age, just need the right set of things going wrong and you can be in trouble.

I am hoping things will improve hugely after the court case.

Trevor - stress gets us all one way or another - I think of myself as a capable and self-reliant kind of guy, but sometimes running my business gets to me and hard.

Takes me best part of a week to unwind on holiday, and then my wife one day says "welcome back".

I was dragged 200 yards while attached to a land rover my manager was driving before my coat gave way and released me.
I ended up with a severe spinal injury, learning to walk again and feeling as low as a person possibly could.
I thought about suicide many a time as i just felt so useless all the time.
That was 5 yrs ago now and i still get help from shrinks and doctors but its nothing to be ashamed of. I live on medication to beat the pain so i can walk, but i fight it every god damn day and i get by(on morphine patches).
Anyway to the point, i fought them in court for 4 1/2 yrs with all the fancy letters of the day, which in the end did them sod all as the judge awarded me more for them having the cheek to even contest it.
I used their money to adjust my house to suit my needs bought my Jag of course (from a useless dealer in N.I) and set up my own business which is thriving now.
So no matter how bad it looks you just stick in there, take what ever help you need as it makes you no less a person to accept it, even helps just to talk to someone else about it anyway.
TAKE EVERY DAY NEW AND WAKE UP FIGHTING.
We are all 100% behind you and willing to help.
You dont need luck in court its a dead cert of an outcome and your it.

Bit, no a lot, conceited is that. Ignorant bar stewards. Email the cheeky sods back and say "I'm not going to lose. I'll let you know my costs later".

That's defeatist, you will not if you walk in and think "I am the equal of these people" if you walk in thinking you have not much chance it will be a mistake.
Latin my posterior. How's this for Latin, "Bol****s.
YOU ARE THEIR EQUAL. The judge does his job, the lawyers do their job, you do yours.
I am just reading John Prescotts biography. you should have read it before this job. He says, " I did not have a top class education, I know my grammar and syntax is not good, I mix up verbs, nouns, and adjectives. But I tell it as it is and people understand me". It's a brilliant book and it shows the man in a completely different light . He got to high office.
