I totally echo what Victor has said above and also the quote from Prezza's book - there is no one person in life who is better than you, regardless of status or position, everyone is your equal, never your better.

I wish you the best of luck Trevor, your determination to stand up for what is right and not be bullied is an inspiration in every sense. I, like everyone, will be thinking of you and keeping eager to read the updates. Good luck mate.

STypeD, that is a horrendous story, don't know how you have coped, there can be nothing worse than constant pain. I wish you well.

Thanks for the comments guys, I will be walking in head held high, if I don't understand anything I will just say so. I am sure the judge won't be impressed if they try to bamboozle me.

This isn't to go smoothly is it? Just had a call from the court changing the trial time to 12 o'clock. I did phone back to double check this just in case

Ah well not such an early start if nothing else.
Regards
Trevor

Once again Trevor, the best of luck, I follow this thread like everyone else and will be very disappointed with the judge if he even thinks about not supporting your case.

As you say Trevor, If you don't understand, say so. That is the correct thing to do. The judge WILL NOT think anything about it, more likely he will admire you for having the bottle to be honest.
I'm still steaming about the ignorant sods with their costs. I would make it known to the court what they have done. It must be offside pulling a stroke like that.
Also, about being their equal, think of it like this:- if the Lord Chief Justice, the Prime Minister, Prince Charles and yourself, met in a bar, and you all had £20 in your pocket, who would be the best man there? Answer:- you would all be equal. And tomorrow, don't forget that.

Hmmm, when you put it like that I see what you mean.

Just had a call from mother, she said think of their barrister washing his pants out in his hotel room tonight. I'd rather not but I see what she meant and that picture will probably enter my head tomorrow at some point, oh dear

do we have a badword filter on here? if so can we add "John Prescott" to it as I find it one of the worst swear words going

you dealing with the car dealer or the car dealers insurers?

the car dealers reaction is the jaded, punter trying it on...

in hindsight a bodyshop repair at their cost would have been less grief for them,

however I wonder if can you approach your own car insurer in matters like this & let them fight it out with the dealer insurer over who's liable?

Probably a bit late in the day, I've just caught up with this again. I'll be thinking and wishing you the success you rightly deserve today.

Good luck Trevor, knock em dead.

There's no indication he shouldn't, all he needs to do is keep strong, he knows they're in the wrong. It's just like has been said all along, the big guy bullying the little guy.

Thanks guys.

Back from day one and managed to survive it, just.

Very scary indeed. I can't say anything else until the case is over tomorrow.

Thanks for all the support.
